Not to forget that the 10% bonus for charging a Chicago Card is gone. And get this - (in 2008 only with transit passes, now also with the Chicago Card) Use a bus first, then a train, you pay $2.25. Use a train first, then a bus, you pay $2.50. So the same trip costs two different fares, depending on if you go from A to B, or B to A. WTF? Only with the CTA. Find me any city on the world where this applies as well. Now, to save $0.25, I recommend to jump on a bus before you enter the L: swipe your Chicago card and immediately exit ($2), then take the train ($0.25) and the bus ($0.00). = $2.25 :-D Sigh. Sick CTA brains.
