I agree with both of you. What is interesting is whether or not he can get tagged with "intent to sale." Anyone know the limit for this charge?

I agree with you, but on the other hand....when you've got that much pot in your car, wouldn't it behoove you to be a tad more careful? I mean, don't go driving the wrong way down a one way street and for crying out loud, do you have to have it displayed on the front seat? He almost deserves jail time for being stupid. And think of all the innocent people who were waiting to get their monthly delivery and now it's never gonna happen. That would be like "Dealing 101" : Rule #1 Obey all traffic laws. sheesh.

In a just society he'd have gotten a ticket and perhaps been arrested for driving under the influence. Instead, he's going to spend years in jail, if not decades, for having the wrong kind of plant.
