- Goce Stojanovski, 47, was arrested yesterday at O'Hare as he attempted to board a plane with a handgun. He's being held on $75,000 bail.
- The parents of the toddler who died in the October helicopter crash in Aurora have filed suit against Air Angels of Bolingbrook, Reach Medical Holdings and the pilot.
- Prestigious Chicago ad agency Leo Burnett has been ordered to pay the United States $15.5 million as part of settlement with the U.S. Army for overcharging the Army for work from 2000 to 2005.
- Chicago-based Orbitz named 37-year old Barney Harford as their new president and CEO.
- Hog farmer Bob Wargaski of suburban Wauconda Township won a fight against Island Lake to prevent them from installing a well on his land. Wargaski was backed by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency.
