I'm just wondering how the dog got a "spinal cord injury". Could it be from hanging out with elephants possibly?

I grew up not far from Evansville, Ind., which at the time had one of the worst zoos in the nation. This zoo kept a single elephant, named Bunny, all alone in a tiny concrete enclosure for something like 40 years. I remember seeing the scars of sores that wouldn't heal all over Bunny, and the way she'd always stand in a corner almost as if she were depressed. And I think she was.

In 1999, the zoo finally sent Bunny to the elephant sanctuary featured in this video. She's able to roam free with many other elephants, and has formed very deep friendships. It's really amazing the amount of personality elephants can show. I'm glad this place exists, and I'm glad Bunny gets to enjoy it.
