I grew up on Novis in Berwyn...those things are typically dripping wet. Theres nothing worse than dry bread on an italian beef. Oh, and I have to throw this out there but I just had Mr Beef on Orleans for the first time about a month ago. It was flat out no question the worst beef sandwich I have ever had in my entire life. Even the fries were atrocious and WAY oversalted. Figures Leno would like that place..

Yeah, I just can't do the dipped because of the soggy bread. Love an Italian beef though.

one good thing about Rosati's in the burbs (since i don't really care for their pizza) is their Italian beef. that thing's so drenched i have to eat the bread with a fork. mmm, i love it.

Yeah, not a big fan of the drowned sandwich. That said, I haven't had a good italian beef in a dog's age. Must. Have. Beef.
