The Trib Has No Idea What Barack Obama Looks Like

Oh, Trib. We get what you were going for in Steve Johnson's article about the Obama girls' new Nintendo Wii. Sasha and Malia got the entertainment console for Christmas, which had Steve guessing what Obama's Mii - the self-created avatar each Wii user makes of themselves - looks like. It looks nothing like Obama.

For starters, there's the goatee. Now while Obama may be the President who most embodies Cool in the Miles Davis sense of the word (God, we still love Kind of Blue), he's not Samuel L. Jackson cool. And what's with the glasses? Again, Obama can rock the cool with sunglasses, but reading glasses? Maybe we're nitpicking here, but come on guys, if you're gonna take the Mii route, let's do it up right.
