As I understand it, there's no legal way to keep him out and I think they've figured that out.
Well, it's not like Durbin was saying both of these things at the same time. Once they realized the law was on Burris' side, they said, fine, seat the guy. This seems to indicate that he was saying both at the same time and contradicting himself.
