The Blackhawks exacted revenge upon the Nashville Predators, winning Sunday's rematch 3-1. Andrew Ladd delivered a centering pass to Dave Bolland for the game winner, which was set up by an excellent save from Nikolai Khabibulin at the other end of the ice. The scoring started when Chicago's Dustin Byfuglien ripped a power-play slap shot past goaltender Danny Ellis, but Martin Erat tipped one in to tied it up for Nashville later in the first. Martin Havlat recorded an empty netter in the final seconds to seal the deal for Chicago. The 'Hawks improved to 3-3 for the month of January and hope to build some momentum when they face the Buffalo Sabres at home on Wednesday.
