Sam Calagione of Dogfish Head and Three Floyds' Nick Floyd are two of the more extreme brewmasters working today. So when the two of them decided to collaborate on an experimental ale, the mind boggles at what they could create.

9 p.m. Wednesday at Bottom Lounge beer geeks get the chance to be the first to sample "Popskull." Described as an "Old School, German Brown Ale with Palo Santo Wood and Botanicals," 60 barrels of Popskull will be distributed in limited release around the time of DarkLord Day 2K9 (as if that event couldn't become any more of a clusterfuck). Both Calagione and Floyd will be on hand, and the $10 cover includes a pint of Popskull and a triple bill of music headlined by the Waco Brothers.
