Preservation Chicago Names 2009 List of Endangered Buildings
Preservation Chicago unveiled today their annual list of the "Chicago 7," the seven most endangered buildings of the city. They are:
- The Harper Theater (53rd Street & Harper Ave)
- St. Boniface Church (Chestnut & Noble)
- Richard Nickel House (1810 W. Cortland)
- Meigs Field Terminal Building (Northerly Island)
- Chicago Motor Club Building (68 E. Wacker)
- Michael Reese Modern (31st & King Drive)
- "Old-fashioned" Wood Windows (countless locations across the city)
