Science is not consensus. Consensus is not science. Remember that the consensus was against Galileo, also.

And if there is any propaganda out there, it is from the members of the global warming religion.

The vast majority of credible scientists, Ward, do believe that human activity has a significant role in current warming trends, despite the "debate" that global warming deniers like to pretend is happening. How those trends will play out, and what, if anything, humanity can do to reverse the trends, is up for debate, but I am so sick of the propaganda from global warming deniers--who, it should be noted, often share the same bed as people who believe in intelligent design, which tells you how credible the whole counter-movement is.

It should be noted that many scientists do not agree with the AAAS position about human activity being a major component of global warming.

I am not slamming their group. They publish a great journal, Science. However, they have been co-opted on the global warming issue by allowing members in the AAAS with a less strict admission criteria than is present in other scientific societies.
