This woman is going to jail for FOUR YEARS, her career is ruined and all for a few lousy thousand dollars. What is wrong with people? The mayor of Baltimore is under indictment for stealing gift cards that were meant for needy families and for not reporting trips and gifts (fur coats, trips, etc.) When you tally it up, it's not that much compared to what she could possibly face in jail time. Do they get stupid and greedy after gaining that little bit of political power? Or are they already that way. But not only do they ruin their own careers and reputations, they're sullying the way the public feels about politicians. There's enough apathy out there as it is and these kinds of politicians are just making it worse.</p>
