<description>&lt;p&gt;Rio has an excellent case for getting the games. They would be the first city to get one in south america. They hosted and delivered the pan-am games and will soon be hosting the world cup. It is warm, scenic and best of all - new. They are making the case that this would be the games for all of south america and are taking the IOC to task for never having had games in south america in the past while the US and Europe have shared the games for something like the past 20 years. 

I predict they will get the games barring any major fuckups in the Brazillian economy. &lt;/p&gt;</description>
