Just when you think we've reached the highest, highest levels of ludicrousness in Chicago for one thing or another, something eclipses that. To think that money will be WASTED - flat out wasted - by installing more of these cameras in safe parts of town where they will do nothing is just irresponsible and laughable. We don't need cameras, we don't need SUVs - we need MANPOWER, plain and simple. More officers patrolling, more officers able to respond to problems, more officers able to target high-crime areas. I'm not telling any of you anything you don't already know, but geez this city is just becoming a complete joke.</p>
