Blagojevich Bangs Home Golden Book Deal

By Marcus Gilmer in News on Mar 2, 2009 10:40PM

It was only a matter of time: former governor Rod Blagojevich has signed a book deal worth six figures, according to his publicist Glenn Selig.

The book will contain a full admission of guilt by Blagojevich on everything he did wrong. Nah, we're just messin' with you. Selig says the book will focus on "exposing the dark side of politics" and "will at times be embarrassing to himself as well as to others."

So now that Blago has decided to become the Jose Canseco of politics, bad hair and all, when can we expect to read this fine tome? Phoenix Books plans to put the book out in October. And for those wondering, Illinois repealed it's Son of Sam law back in 1992 without replacing it so even if he is convicted on federal charges, Blago can still profit from his book.
