Credit Greg Kot for jumping the gun and forcing their hand before the curators even announced the line-up on their site -- a move we personally find somewhat classless -- but announcing the first few Pitchfork Music Festival acts have been announced. The Jesus Lizard (yay!), Built To Spill, Tortoise, and Yo La Tengo will open the fest with fan picked set-lists.
Other acts on the bill include Grizzly Bear (whose latest album actually didn't put us to sleep, thus inspiring hope for an, uh, inspiring set), The National, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Pharoahe Monch, The Walkmen, and Vivian Girls.
With even that smidgen reveled the line-up is already worth the price of admission so don't miss out when tickets go on sale next week.
UPDATE: Our critical take on Kot was premature. We've learned from a staffer at Pitchfork that the site gives both Greg Kot and Jim DeRogatis the line-up before they announce it themselves. Our apologies.

Holy crap! Built to Spill and Yo La Tengo are worth it by themselves.
I've never been able to get into Built to Spill. But I've wanted to see YLT forever, so thats a plus.
And Jesus Lizard!!
Id be excited about Tortoise if I didnt just see them last month.
I was reallly hoping for The Buzzcocks on Friday, but this fest is shaping up nicely.
Already a solid line up. I'm most looking forward to the whole "help make the setlist" aspect of Friday night (why no mention of that?). This is going to shape out to be fantastic.
Voting on the set list is an interesting new aspect to the festival.
