Early voting for the general election on April 7 begins today at various locations around the city. Most eyes will be on the Race to Replace Rahm in the Fifth U.S. Congressional District. The three-way competition will be between Mike Quigley (D), Matt Reichel (Green), and Rosanna Pulido (R). Outside of the city, however, there are a ton of races up for grabs and you can scan them all here.
For the Fifth U.S. Congressional race, early voting locations are:
- Wright College, Science Building, 4300 N. Narragansett Ave.
- North Park Village Administration Building, 5801 N. Pulaski Road
- Lincoln Park Library, 1150 W. Fullerton Ave.
- Chicago Election Board, 69 W. Washington St., Lower Level

Early voting runs today through Thursday, April 2. Early voting locations are open Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (but only til noon on Saturdays at suburban voting locations), and on Sundays, the Cook County Clerk's office, located downtown at 69 W. Washington, will be open from 9 a.m. to noon.

I am voting for Quigley today. I guess that means he wins, cuz voter turnout will be very low.
Thanks for reminding everyone that there are actually candidates other than a Democrat running. Maybe the Trib and S-T will actually do the same.
