Carols? The "regular" crowd who are actually into country there aren't that many and the hipsters who like the whole divey aspect of the bar won't actually go pay to see Rascal Flats at Wrigley. Never been to Save More. Is that the one on Belmont and Sheffield? If so, I went there a long time ago when I lived on Belmont in the 80s but not recently.

Have any of you been to the Save More Lounge on Lincoln or Carol's on Leland?? Rascall Flatts is going to be huge for Chicagoans!

Probably not Chicago residents, but I bet you the vast majority of the crowd is from Chicagoland. Country fans are more pervasive then you think. Rascal Flatts sells tons of albums, and a lot of them closer to urban centers then you would think.

I bet the Southport people are now a little bummed that they booked "Flatt & Rascally- The Rascall Flatts Tribute Experience" to headline their festival.

I'm guessing 85 percent of the crowd will not be Chicago residents. Lots of country fans in Indiana, Wisconsin, Missouri, even further downstate in Illinois.

You know, I was thinking to myself this morning, what's the one thing Chicago really needs? Cheaper taxes? Transparency of TIF projects? More police officers? And then I just stopped dead in my tracks as it hit me: A RASCAL FLATTS CONCERT! YES! Please... who in the world is going to go to that?
