Why would you want to omit the orgeat? It's just almond syrup. And it's wonderful. Torani makes a good one, less than $5 a bottle, or buy Fee Bros. version online at KegWorks.

Yo son, I always called Sangria the drink of World Market shopping, Gypsy Kings listen, Birkenstock wearing Roger's park living hippies But the above "drank" looks like something a Spook could get behind on a Friday,( and how!) especially on a Friday,son! I think the name of this post should be the Properly Sauced Club cause not only an I a supporter but also a client

Any recommendations for substitutions for the Orgeat Syrup or thoughts on how it would taste with the removal of it all together? Does the type of red wine matter much? Thanks!!!

The only Sangria in town that will actually get you drunk too! This place is awesome and a must try.
