- Monica Eng and Phil Vettel for Newspaper Feature Writing About Restaurants and/or Chefs for "Big Night, Big Mystery: why Did Michael Carlson Vanish the Day After Serving Dinner to the Greatest Chefs in the World?"
- Eng again for Newspaper Feature Writing Without Recipes ("Morality Bites")
- The Tribune for Newspaper Food Section
- Mike Sula in Multimedia Food Journalism for "The Whole Hog Project"
- Grant Achatz's Alinea Cookbook in the "Cooking From A Professional Point of View" category.

Mike G, your videography in those more recent installments was as integral as Sula's reporting. It is a well-deserved nomination.
Does anyone else find it ironic that the guy on the Beard Foundation seal, in addition to having no beard, is also almost completely bald?
