I'm not sure that "festivities" is the best word to describe the opening of a Holocaust museum.

From the museum's website: "The Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center is a project of the Holocaust Memorial Foundation of Illinois. This new world-class museum is dedicated to preserving the memories of those lost in the Holocaust and teaching current generations about the need to fight hatred, indifference and genocide in today’s world." So I'm certain to find an interesting and non biased installation about the current situation between Israel and the Palestinians?

As a web designer, it really bugs the shit out of me that design mills like Orbit Media get so much work, because it's obvious to my trained eye that they don't really consider the content when designing a site. I went to the museum's site and my first question was "where is it?" Hmm... don't see it anywhere on the home page (though I do see a link to Orbit Media in the footer -- tacky, tacky), so maybe it's in About the Museum. Hmm... nope, don't see it there. Sometimes the address will be on the Contact page, so I'll look there. Ah, there it is, buried inside the site. That is a problem! Address and basic contact information, especially for a public institution like a museum, should be on every single page! Sorry for hijacking like this, but design mills are the reason I don't make as much money as I should, despite knowing that I'd do a way better job at disseminating information.
