Do This: Rogers Park Dinner Tour

2009-03_RP_taste.jpg Rogers Park is one of the city's most ethnically diverse neighborhoods; organizing an "Alphabet of Nations" tour of its restaurants seems eminently feasible. From 4-8 p.m. Sunday, that's exactly what's going to happen.

The non-profit neighborhood community, economic and business group DevCorp North is sponsoring a dinner tour of some of Rogers Park's more popular restaurants. From the seafood of Las Islas Marias and Persian specialties at Masouleh, to the jerked treats at Jamaica Jerk and the global village approach of Heartland Café, there's soemthing for everyone. Starting at DevCorp North's offices at 1557 N. Howard, diners will be given "passports" and provided with van transportation to allow them to tour the participating restaurants at their own pace.

Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 day-of. For more information and to RSVP, click here.
