Last night's NCAA Championship game wasn't much of a battle, with North Carolina jumping out to an early lead and never looking back. Holding a 55-34 halftime lead, the Tar Heals coasted through the second half to defeat the Michigan St. Spartans 89-72 at Ford Field in Detroit to win the school's fifth title.
Along with the crowning of UNC as National Champions, we at Chicagoist crown a champion as well. J. ALFIERI's MACHOUNO007 entry beat 105 other competitors to take the title in the Chicagoist Tournament Challenge. He scored 1670 points, which placed his entry in the 99.9th percentile of all entries in ESPN.com's Tournament challenge. Congrats! man, MSU really should of called a timeout early on in that game. Everything pointed to a TO early!
Does second place get me anything? Can I at least get a "good job buddy!"?
Good job, buddy! 99.2 percentile is pretty damn good...
thanks, I feel better
I poured my second cup of coffee this morning and SWISH!!!!...Ellington hits another three!
Does anyone else find the Michigan State bars in Chicago to be really annoying? I do, and I speak as a Michigan State alumnus and relatively big fan of its sports. Similar bars in the Detroit area have way friendlier people and staff.
That's right. I revealed info about my personal life on this anon blog!
