Just weeks removed from leading Whitney Young's basketball team to the State 4A title, Marcus Jordan has chosen where he'll play his college ball. Jordan, the son of Bulls superstar and Basketball Hall of Famer Michael Jordan, announced that he will play for the University of Central Florida Knights next year.

Jordan chose UCF over some higher profile programs like Iowa, Nebraska and Miami because they were able to prove to him they were interested in him more for his play than for his name. Additionally, playing for the Knights will reunite Jordan with former high school teammate, A.J. Rompza -- who was named Conference USA's all-freshman team this season.

Jordan's choice of school means he's likely to see plenty of time on the court. Older brother Jeffrey passed up scholarship offers from smaller schools to walk on at University of Illinois and has seen only limited action during his first two seasons with the Illini.

jeffrey jordan saw some decent playing time this year. he's actually a pretty good defender. i'll be interested in seeing what his role (if any) will be next year.

In other news:
