While we were excited to see the Bears upgrade from Kyle Orton to Jay Cutler on the field, we feared an end to crazy QB antics to entertain us during the off season. Never fear, Bears fans.
Jay Cutler hasn't even suited up for this first Bears minicamp, and he's already attempting to live up to the high bar that Captain Neckbeard set. Cutler was spotted partying this weekend with new teammate Greg Olsen at Hub51, the popular River North hangout run by Rich Melmen's sons.
In addition to palling it up with his new tight end, Cutler apparently got up close and personal with internet columnist/starlet Julia Allison. Seen making out, the two left together but not before Cutler asked the DJ to play "Bear Down, Chicago Bears!" That earned him a spot on Page Six.

To clarify, I have no problem with him hanging out. It's just that quarterbacks that like to "hang out" don't have a stellar history in Chicago (Jim McMahon notwithstanding and he wasn't all that great. Although Jack Concannon was an All-Pro Hanger-Outer)
And quarterbacks that don't like to "hang out" do have a stellar history?

Greetings Chicago...Hello from Denver...Now that you have Cutler, please know that he is a serious alcoholic and he has Type I Diabetes - not a good combination. He's an ass with a big ego but I would much rather have him than Orton.
FYI, Cutler was Bombed the entire time while in Hawaii during the Pro Bowl.
Bears win this round but our draft picks will pan out in 3-4 years and by that time, Cutler will have pissed off everyone in Illinois....Cheers.

He's a good, smart QB with a strong arm - not better than Elway's as he compared himself to last year - not a good move either. He has a HUGE ego and will end up pissing off everyone in Chicago before he leaves in 3 years. Don't get me wrong, I'd rather have Cutler than Orton but the kid has serious attitude and drinking issues. He was completely bombed during the entire week in Hawaii during the Pro Bowl....Good luck with him.
