Palahniuk is Jack’s Graphic Design Contest

2009_04_palaniuk.jpg You may not be a beautiful and unique snowflake, but you can have your fifteen minutes (and a grand prize of $600) if you enter novelist Chuck Palahniuk’s latest PR gimmick.

While we wonder what Tyler Durden would think of the author promoting his upcoming novel Pygmy through Facebook, Twitter, and a book trailer, Pygmy is being billed as “The Manchurian Candidate meets South Park.” Call up Trey and Matt—we have an idea for a new movie that will put “Team America World Police” to shame.

The internet buzz suggests Pygmy transforms Fight Club’s “Project Mayhem” into “Operation Havoc,” led by a bevy of teenage foreign-exchange students bent on the general unraveling of a Midwestern city. There are deadly arts, unwanted erections, and totalitarianism… but probably not in that order.

Enter your rendition of “Operation Havoc’s” logo here before April 20th and get a sneak peek (PDF) before Pygmy is published in May.
