that was a ball, but good hitters would have fouled off a close ball like that with bases loaded, tie game and one out. no way he should have sat on that pitch in the hopes of getting a walk like he did

Like I said yesterday, I would have been tossed too. Not only was the pitch clearly a ball, but the catcher had to reach across his body in order to catch it! That said, it's good news that despite hitting 1-18, his OBP is still .320. That tells when does start hitting, his OBP will quickly climb into the mid .400s.

That strike was BS though. He was in the right. But I've always liked Reed - he should be starting over Milton anyway.
