I would love to go, but only if I could win tickets, for they are uber-expensive. And while there are a bunch of bands I wouldn't mind seeing, the only two I truly love are Kings of Leon and Ben Folds (the man is an effing genius on the piano). Neko Case, Coheed and Cambria, Lou Reed, I like... Cage the Elephant, Airborne Toxic Event, TV on the Radio, the Decemberists and Peter Bjorn and John I wouldn't mind seeing, but wouldn't go out of my way for.

It's weird to read that list and go "Cool!" then "ugh" Lou Reed (COOL!) Vampire Weekend (Ugh) Fleet Foxes (Cool!) Arctic Monkeys (ugh) I can't do the event, too hot, crowded and over-priced. And I have this weird feeling like I'm blowing Perry Ferrell every time I go near it.

A lot of great bands this year, but the first four I don't even listen to on the radio, let alone standing around to save a good spot for hours. At least I'll beat the traffic.

"Chicago's Own?" Wasn't Lollapalooza originally a touring show? Either way, awesome lineup. A lot of big name indie acts, but no large stellar act. I mean Lou Reed and Tool would be fun to see, but nothing like Daft Punk.

Definitely Satisfied with that. Specifically: Band of Horses, Arctic Monkeys, Deer Hunter, and Dan Auerbach.
