My only complaint about this joint is how slow it can be. I don't mean a line either. My first time there it took 40 minutes to get six dippin' dogs and an order of bacon and there was just one other diner. The second time I went I called ahead and even after a half hour there was still another 15 minute wait. Again, no long lines, just really, really slow. And the place is pretty grotty, but maybe Hot Doug's has spoiled me on my gourmet fast-foodery.

I could sit and eat Gus's chipotle ketchup with the dipping dogs all day. Bacon ketchup would just make everything perfect.

He was experimenting with a bacon ketchup the last time I was there. I wish I could put it on all the food I eat.
