Conchords Take Flight, Obvious Headline Cribbed

Last night's Flight Of The Conchords show at the Arie Crown was long, loose, and utterly hilarious. Early reports from the road had us worrying that we'd get far too short a set, but at the end of nearly two hours the Kiwi duo had mined material from all stages of their career and left the audience in stitches. The group obviously went past the set list to dig deep and impulsively unearth some unexpected gems like ""Hip-Hopopotamus vs. The Rhymenoceros," but our personal highlights included "Hurt Feelings, "Epileptic Dogs," the audience participation (and by participation we mean near molestation) of "Sugalumps," and an epic version of "Bowie." Of the new material we thought the Western song-story and metaphysical tomfoolery of "Stana" was the strongest ... but honestly, even at the show's wobbliest moments we we always entertained.
We've seen a couple tickets come up on craigslist, TicketBastard, and Twitter, so if you can score some seats for tonight at a reasonable price it's well worth the money.
