The "How Long Will Geno Bahena Stay In One Place?" Game

2009_05_bahena.jpg For those of you needing last-minute plans for Cinco de Mayo, Los Moles (3140 N. Lincoln, 773-935-9620) is now open for business, and it's BYOB for now.

Los Moles is the latest stop on "Mole Master" Geno Bahena's never-ending battle with wanderlust (or creditors and business partners). By now Bahena has taken his act to more neighborhoods than any two Tamale Men combined. Because Bahena moves around so much, there is now a moratorium here at Chicagoist regarding reviewing his restaurants, regardless of the high quality of his moles.

Instead, I'm placing the over/under on Bahena's tenure with Los Moles to run around six months. Any takers?

I was going to say 8 months... what, exactly, is his issue with staying put at any one restaurant for more than a year? Does he get bored? Can he not run the business end of things? And how does he keep landing new places with his track record?
