Today in WTF: D-Pete Headed to Bunny Ranch?

It was just last week when we learned former governor Rod Blagojevich actually met a PR opportunity he could refuse: appearing on the HBO show Cathouse, which focuses on Las Vegas's famed Moonlite Bunny Ranch brothel. At the time, Blago spokesman Glenn Selig said, "They did offer it to him but we're not taking it seriously." Now, Bunny Ranch owner Dennis Hof told WBBM 780 he might set his focus on landing Drew Peterson instead. Said Hof: "You know, I think I might as well just stay in that Chicago area. I think I'm going to go after Drew Peterson. He doesn't have an old lady now; at least they can't find her. He might as well be on my show and have some fun with the girls."

Uh, really? You're being sarcastic aren't you, Hof? Because being turned down by Blago and then going for Drew Peterson is like being told Hardee's is out of hamburgers so you go to Krystal's instead. And, yes, we know D-Pete hasn't even been charged with anything yet in the murder of wife #3 Kathleen Savio and wife #4 Stacy Peterson's disappearance, but...seriously? Dubya tee eff? That circumstantial evidence alone should be enough to at least make you a little wary of having this guy around a house full of women.

Oh, and not for nothing, Selig represents both Blago and D-Pete. After dismissing the opportunity for Blago, what does Selig have to say about D-Pete being on the Ranch? "Drew Peterson has made no secret of his desire to be around women and his dating, so this might be something he might be interested in exploring." Of course it is.

Ok, I did not hear this news....Drew's 'old lady' is MIA? Was he referring to Stacey or has he broken up with the latest 20 year old?

That's old school talk for "wife" or "girlfriend." It makes the guy sound like a retired biker.

Just picture him, pulling up on his hog, towing a trailer full of blue barrels...

Hi Marcus. I'm just curious, is this story "Art" or an "Event?" Might I suggest a WTF category.

Technically, as it relates to a TV show, it falls under our broad A&E. But D-Pete has gotten these shenanigans to an art in and of itself so...
