Whack-ass weather be damned, it's summer, and Millennium Park is plowing ahead like we aren't in the middle of the lousiest warm season in twelve years. The gems continue Thursday evening with a free taping of "Wait, Wait...Don't Tell Me!"

Peter Sagal and Carl Kasell will be joined by semi-regular guests Amy Dickinson, Charles Pierce, and Paul Provenza, as well as a surprise Not My Job guest. The show will open with a quiz administered by Greg Kot and Jim DeRogatis.

Show up early to see Redmoon Theater perform and to enter a drawing for a free scooter. There may even be WBEZ volunteers on hand to hand out buttons and accept donations from listeners like you.

And, in any case, you should show up early because the free Millennium Park show normally draws 11,000 other overeducated goofballs besides you. If you're an aggro overeducated goofball, there will be about 250 seats (real seats!) available up front at 6:10 p.m.

The show starts at 6:30 p.m. and will air on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.

Weather Forecast:
A little on the chilly side - daytime highs near 64, lows at night around 57 - but, hey, at least it won't rain.
