- Gothamist witnessed plans for an impressive, if controversial Frank Gehry-designed basketball arena get replaced by a ho-hum, run-of-the-mill sports arena plan because it was less expensive. In fact, Gehry is no longer involved with the massive Brooklyn plan at all.
