Bartolo Colon has been on the DL after injuring his knee in early June. Apparently ready to get back on the mound, the Sox would like Colon ready to return before a July 24 double header. But if he remains MIA long enough to miss his start on Thursday?
The Sox filled his spot in the rotation with Clayton Richard, and they have also been actively pursuing other starting pitchers. So his chances of factoring into the Sox rotation down the stretch might dim even further if he doesn't reappear soon.

I'm going to guess his disappearance involved a sandwich of some sort.
he looks like an Arby's type of guy
does that mean the Sox don't have to pay him anymore? sweet!
I still cannot understand at all why Kenny Williams signed this guy. It made no sense at all.
why not? they signed him to a minor league deal and got 3 wins out of it, which ain't bad when you're only currently 2 games out of first. makes sense to me at a low risk.
I think they should check all of the area all-you-can-eat buffets.
Kenny's flyer on Colon made sense given Colon's past track record and the fact he was available for almost nothing ($1 million).
Kenny Williams: "Alright, listen up, people. Our starting pitcher has been on the run for two days. What I want from each and every one of you is a hard-target search of every convenience store, snack shop, pancake house, waffle house, chop house, hash house and hotdoghouse in that area. Checkpoints go up at fifteen miles. Your fugitive's name is Bartolo Colon Go get him."
Stealth wins again.
