It's finally going to feel a bit more like mid-July today. Besides warmer temps - highs should reach the mid-80s easily - it's more humid than it's been in a while. Skies will be mostly cloudy and there's a 50 percent chance of rain, sure, but hey, summertime warmth is finally back. Maybe it'll be warm enough to go to the beach this weekend. Tonight, it'll be cloudy with a 60 percent chance of storms and a low around 70, so if you're going out you may want to keep an umbrella handy, just in case.

What in the world is that tent for? I drove by it the other day. Is it really a circus?

Actually, circus was probably not the best tag.

This is from http://leisureblogs.chicagotribune.com/the_theater_loop/2009/06/cavalia-.html

“Cavalia,” a huge, international touring show that combines equestrian and acrobatic disciplines and is perhaps best described as the Cirque du Soleil with horses, is to pitch its tent this summer in Chicago, the show’s Montreal-based founder and artistic director Normand Latourelle is announcing Thursday. Latourelle is a co-founder of the Cirque du Soleil.

Here is their home page.
