We know Oscar Mayer’s first and last name, but do we know his insurance policy number?

That’s what a Racine, Wis. homeowner is left wondering after a Weinermobile, the meat production company’s hot dog shaped promotional vehicle, crashed into the deck and garage of his home. According to an Associated Press report, the Weinermobile’s 22-year-old driver drove into the home thinking she had put the car in reverse to back out of the home’s driveway. The home’s owner, Nick Krupp, was not at home when police came to the scene Friday evening. No one was injured.

The home and the car "suffered moderate damage" from the accident, the report said. Krupp’s neighbor, Tom McCauley, said the Weinermobile had a cracked windshield, a broken side view mirror and “front damage.” The home's foundation was cracked from the accident.

Sydney Lindner, an Oscar Mayer spokeswoman, said insurance would cover damages and “apologized for any inconvenience.”

“We expect to be back on the hot dog highways spreading miles of smiles in no time,” she said.
