In another year of quality restaurant openings, Birchwood Kitchen (2211 W. North Ave., 773-276-2100) has become another favorite for their gourmet sandwiches made from locally sourced ingredients.

Starting August 4th Birchwood Kitchen is adding burgers (for those of you who don't want a fancy sandwich) to their repertoire with "burger nights" Tuesdays through Fridays from 5-9 p.m. they're keeping it simple, offering three burgers: Turkey with Chipotle-Sage Aioli, Tomato, Red Onion and Mesculin Mix ($8); Beef with Bacon, Brunkow Cheddar, Tomato with Roasted Garlic Aioli ($9) and Salmon with Wasabi Mayo, Pickled Ginger, Cucumber and Greens ($10). To show they're serious, Birchwood kitchen is offering a "buy one, eat two" Burger Night offer every Wednesday in August.
