Aigre Doux Closes

These are the things one misses when you leave town for a day. Aigre Doux, the River North bistro of husband/wife team Mohammad Islam and Malika Ameen, has shuttered its doors. A press release yesterday cited the recent passing of Ameen's father and a desire to focus on family as the reasons behind the closing. ameen will be keeping Aigre Doux fans updated on her and Islam's exploits on, where else, twitter.
