Lincoln Hall, the much anticipated new music venue in town, is already in the midst of its soft opening* but they're proper grand opening bash is this Sunday with Ted Leo + Pharmacists and The Jai Alai Savant. Oh wait, we already told you that, didn't we?

Well what we didn't tell you is that we have four pairs of tickets to give away to the big party! So four lucky readers get to bring a date to check out two incredible bands in a brand spankin' new room. Neither band disappoints live, but Ted Leo + Pharmacists is truly amazing. We swear we've seen sparks fly from Leo's fingers and his Pharmacists are so incredibly tight you might begin to think they're just separate segments of the same beast just itching to physically integrate into a monster machine of rock and/or roll.

And hey, if you don't win tickets, they're only $15 ... though at that price you might want to pick up a pair now to ensure entry in case you're not one of the lucky four winners in our contest.

Contest closes at 5 p.m. CDT on Thursday, October 22.

Ted Leo + Pharmacists and The Jai Alai Savant play Sunday October 25 at Lincoln Hall, 2424 N Lincoln, 8 p.m., $15, 18+

*Although as far as "soft openings" go this one has been stacked with some pretty heavy hitters including Mike Doughty, Liam Finn, La Roux, and Langhorne Slim. That's pretty impressive already, if you ask us!

hmmm. can you post a link to the $5 tickets? I looked on their website and they are $15.

Sorry, it appears as if they are $15. I mistakenly read them as being listed at $5.

Enter now and maybe you can get 'em for free!
