Dollars For Milk Duds
Looking for a way to get rid of that leftover Halloween candy that's just going to put on some pounds? The Tribune has a story today on Jeffrey Grimley, one of several local dentists who are offering cash - $1 per pound - in exchange for Halloween candy. And where does the candy go? For Grimley, it's sent to a California-based group Operation Gratitude who in turn ship the candy to troops stationed overseas. You can find even more dentists participating in similar buybacks at this website.
