Strangely Cast Christmas Carol Cancels

Remember that really weird production of A Christmas Carol that was supposed to open at the Civic Opera House? Considering all of the drama the show had already endured, we weren't all that surprised to receive this email from the production's marketing people:

The producers of "A Christmas Carol" regret to announce that the engagement at the Civic Opera House has been cancelled. The full ticket price and convenience charge (if applicable), will be automatically refunded to your credit card. If you purchased your tickets with cash, please return to the box office with your tickets for a refund.

Looks like Goodman's A Christmas Carol is back to being the main game in town. We'll have a review of their production next week.
