Break In At 49th Ward Political Office

2009_11_04_swiper.jpg Authorities are investigating a break-in at the 49th Ward Democratic Party campaign office but don't believe it was a politically-motivated break-in, so keep the "-gate" in check for now. According to 49th Ward Democratic Committeeman David Fagus that a computer and monitor were taken. According to CBS 2:

Still, "it would be very unlikely (the break-in) is political," he said. "Nobody in the office is running for anything at the moment," and he noted the computer taken "was the one with the best monitor." Whomever broke into the office saw what appeared to be a valuable computer and monitor, broke in, and left, Fagus said.

Organizing for America and Ald. Joe Moore also use the office.
