Antoine Walker, Slum Lord

Former Mount Carmel High star and NBA star Antoine Walker is in hot water for slum conditions at various buildings he owns across the city, according to a report by the Tribune: "Real estate investment companies that list Walker as an investor or principal -- Walker Ventures LLC and AW Realty LLC -- are the target of more than a dozen lawsuits alleging poor management of numerous properties, unpaid debts and damages caused by shoddy repair work." In an interview with the Trib, Walker apologized for the conditions and said, "I accept full responsibility for the debts of my company."

LOL, it's next to Mount Hot Chocolate.

Personally I like Mount Caramel better

Apparently Antoine Walker has blown through all $110,000,000 plus of his earnings and has millions in debt. How one can spend $110,000,000 dollars is beyond my comprehension.

However, if any of you played NBA Live 99 on the original Playstation, you know he was a complete bad ass on the court.

Homeland obligations require me to point this out, even though I'm reading this a day late ... but Antoine Walker was a key member of the University of Kentucky's 1996 championship team, commonly referred to in the bluegrass as "the Untouchables." They played a near perfect season, losing only one regular season game to UMass and a weird SEC final to Mississippi State. But they dominated March Madness, and many consider them among the best teams in college basketball history. Antoine Walker was a monster at Rupp Arena.

At least back then, he seemed like a decent kid. It's been sad to watch the way his life has gone since.
