- The woman who died in the overnight Streeterville high-rise fire has been identified as 84-year-old Beata Bihl. The cause of the fire is still under investigation but investigators say it started in Bihl's apartment.
- India is seeking extradition of David Headley, the Chicago man charged with both making plans for a terror attack in Denmark as well as helping plan the 2008 terror attacks in Mumbai.
- Chicago 2016 head Pat Ryan has been selected for a panel to tell the USOC what they're doing wrong. This should be fun.
