- The "Chicago Originals" restaurant week begins today and runs through the end of the month. Guests can choose between 3 and 4-course prix fixe meals from any of the restaurants listed here for $29.10. Some participating restaurants will also offer select bottles of wine for $29.10 each.
- Marcus Samuelsson is back in town promoting his new cookbook, New American Table. Samuelsson will be at C-House this evening for a four-course dinner starting at 6:30 p.m. The courses will be paired with beer selections from Goose Island. (166 E. - Dawali Mediterranean Kitchen (4911 N. Kedzie, 777-267-4200) celebrates both National Soup Month and National Hot Tea Month with $1 lentil soup and $1 sage or mint tea from now until the 31st.
