Cop Caught Delivering Weed On Duty

2010_02_02_weed.jpg If you're going to make some extra money on the side delivering marijuana, well, that's your call. We know times are tough all over and you have to pay the rent somehow, so we won't judge. But it's best to not do so when you're on the clock at your other job, especially when that other job is "police officer." An Earlville police officer, Sgt. Sergio Fuentes, was caught delivering marijuana to another law enforcement officer while on duty and used his squad car to make the delivery. A search turned up more narcotics in his personal vehicle. Fuentes has been charged with possession of a controlled substance and official misconduct, both felonies that could total up to eight years in prison. Fuentes has been suspended without pay.
