Nothing good ever happens at Chuck E. Cheese. And last night was no exception as a two-year-old girl was abandoned at the North Side Chuck E. Cheese location near Fullerton and Clybourn. According to the Tribune, the girl (pictured right), "answers to the name Kayla, is an African-American female about two years old who has brown eyes, black hair, and braids in her hair. She stands 2 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 35 pounds." No other information was known about the girl who is now with the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services. If you have any information on the child, please contact Det. Jeffrey King at Area 3 Detective Division SVU at 312-744-8261 or 312-744-8266.

Update: According to CBS 2, Kayla's mother has contacted police, telling them there was a misunderstanding between family members about who was to give the child a ride home. The mother told police she thought the girl was going to spend the night at an aunt's house.
