Pizza-gate!

Gothamist has discovered that Michelle Obama has dissed our pizza. Kind of. After eating at the popular Brooklyn pizza joint Grimaldi's yesterday, she declared that "It's the best pizza, and I'm from Chicago."

We're not above entering the debate between NYC and Chicago 'za, but is Obama actually slighting our own deep dish delights? The Obamas are known for their nuance, so we think if you carefully parse her words what she's actually saying is that Grimaldi's has the best pizza in New York, and she should know, because she's from Chicago.

Right? Right?
