Chicagoist Podcast 4/5 - Street Sweepin' & Schadenfreude!

On this week's entry to the Chicagoist Podcast Series, the natural comedy of the City Council, mixed with the real comedy of Schadenfreude - so which one is funnier? One's definitely funny in a "ha-ha" sense, and the Council...well, that's just kinda funny in a civically cynical sense.

"The Parking Ticket Geek" from The Expired Meter joins us to discuss the Street Sweeping Revolution going on across the city. Are Aldermen growing a spine and learning to face off against the Mayor? Who's leading the charge against the plans? Where does it stand today?

And the sketch-comedy stalwarts of Schadenfreude return to the live-performance scene with their "City That Works" show debuting this weekend - Schad's Justin Kaufmann joins the podcast to talk about the show, doing sketch comedy in a city of Second City and all things improv, and how they're mashing up live R&B with comedy including an Aldermanic appearance...
